After I got home, I got on the google to looke up UTI, feline and there are scads of sites. I found one that was really lengthy but at the end there was a part that said the cystocentisis procedure whereby the vet gets a totally sterile sample can cause a little bleeding and thay may be what happened to Missie...after they squeezed her and she passed a little blood clot she seemd so much better and is now eating and at the moment snoozing...she got me up at 0430 to feed her..so tomorrow I will get a readout on the culture. fingers crossed that this is the end of her bathroom problems...I hate to see her cry like this. Oh there was one really important notice about this in the site I was reading and I suspect it applies to all small animals...if they display signs of UTI's or urinary troubles they must get to the vet because delay could cause death..They are small and if they get backed up the toxins can get to them I suppose much more quickly that for a human..Meanwhile my vet bills mount....
Thanks everyone for your support and good wishes for me and Missie...if you saw her you would know just how sweet and pretty she is... Do a google sometime on tonkinese kitties...there are some that are quite angular like the siamese but mine is an applehead...much nicer features and sweet little faces...they have the most innocent looks despite some of their best mischief...
Val the pics are wonderful...the ones you posted the other day of the forest and the little waterfall..reminds me of the New Forest in the south of England..Some day you gotta go to the UK and take pics of the old ruins and castles and farms and forests there. And you would love the strange sites in London too..talk about styles and hairdos etc...they are on the cutting edge..the hiphoppers ain't got nuttin on the Brits goofy clothes...LOL
That's too bad...I'm sure you've talked to him but I would add that when he is older he will look back and regret not playing...especially if his brother plays and does well, or just has a lot of fun. Not liking the football coach is pretty common, most kids will say the same thing...it's kind of a rite of passage. I played high school football and was a very average player but loved every minute...and didn't like my varsity coach. I loved the game so much I was a high school football ref. for 10-years and only quit because of work conflicts. If (when) I get back to the US, I'll be reffin' my first Fall home. Lots of great memories associated with high school football.
