I know Garrett is a wimp. After busting his knee last year and needing so much work on his toes (they got stepped on a lot, which made his ingrown toenail problem worse) he's afraid of getting hurt... and of course he is convinced he is a lot smarter than the coach. He is the smartest person on the planet.
He needs another week to heal right now, so it's late for him to get going on the season - the first game is tonight.

He got a job today.. sort of. He'll clean the pool every week for some neighbors whose lawn he mows. I said, "Look out, that lady might be trying to find out if the pool boy legends are true." He said the guy hired him, not his wife. Oh.
He's put in job applications all over town - even places with help wanted signs - and still hasn't gotten a call. I hope he's putting down the correct phone number.

This is Garrett when he went in for his MRI on the knee in February. He had to have surgery to repair the torn meniscus, but it went well and he healed up nicely.

The whole clan will be there. It may be to cold in the lake to swim or tube, so that means all the kids will be running around looking for entertainment. I hope my sisters bring some videos for them!

That's a super good picture of the girls, Mo.
When I was 5 my mom got us a puppy for Easter, and we had some pictures of us three girls in our Easter dresses with Doc the next year... I don't know where those pictures are. Never did have any pictures of Doc when he was a little puppy ... he lived to be about 16.
