Ahoy mateys, please check in here at the unofficial Pirate Chapter of Free Republic if you were at Friva and saw the Pirate Invasion at least one time while at the Treasure Island Resort.
Even though I could spot some of you unsavory pirates from across a room, I didn't bother to scribble your screen names on any of my numerous receipts from Vegas.
The good news is that my camera's fine now. I just purchased shoddy batteries in Reno. IT FIGURES with a name like that.
I'll bookmark this thread and post here occasionally because Jeb Bush doesn't need me full time. LOL
I make a motion that we have no issues or ping list. What more could you want in a chapter?
If you had a bad day at the office, drop by the Pirate Thread and just try to get our undivided attention.
And, finally, I make a motion that we don't take any guff from the bandwidth police. We'll sink their battleship if they try anything.
An Historic Day - The Pirate Chapter thread is officially opened on this 20th day of August, 2002.

Mercenary Maid from the Crow's Nest
I'm saying sometime next week for the pictures. The Reno pictures turned our kewl too.
I visited Frisco in '78 but the family history goes back to Frisco. My great grandfather was a deep sea sailor in the Pacific and Frisco was the port where they docked. He also worked on a riverboat steamer in Sacramento after that. Magnus Johnson is on my profile page. Not a pirate himself, but I'm sure he met some pretty savory characters sailing the Pacific as a young guy.
We've got a Fresno great grandfather of another freeper too who had a very colorful life. The photos are worth a look see. Mercenary Maid, Skaner Swede Stock
No dem rats are allowed to board though. We've a brig for rinos and rats because we're a conservative band of pirates; coming together for the first time at the most conservative place in the world - Las Vegas, Nevada. LOL
How about it guys? Huh? They look like Eisner Mermaids IMO.
Please drop by the new Pirate Chapter which is supposed to be fun, right mates?
Mercenary Maid from the Crow's Nest
I don't trust Ritter, Hatfill or any leakers. They can cry all they want on the tube. I do not trust them.
For one thing, Hatfill said that commandment number nine was about bearing false witness and Ashcroft broke it. How weird is it getting in the Beltway?
Oops, I forgot I was in Florida. It's pretty weird here too. LOL Have smooth sailing this week. Mercenary Maid
It's just moderately weird here, but I'm only about a mile inside the Beltway.
I believe the weirdness goes exponential as you approach Capitol Hill...
