Here in the Dallas area, there has not been any news on the trial til the jury started deliberating. Now, they begin by saying something to the effect of the trial of a former area little girl. Just sick. Anything to get in on the feeding frenzy!

I have not heard one news station yet that has put forth anything that has been studied about this case. Just sound bites that seem to follow some kind of "PARTY LINE" that appeals to the majority, for ratings etc. Then again, maybe the station owners or shareholders belong to the SWINGER PARTY. Maybe the talking heads get their marching orders from the SWINGER PARTY and must follow it if they want to work.
Does this idea now make me a conspiracy theorist????? See what you guys have done to me..........

Were the "blood" spots definately blood or just some DNA containing body fluid. Not tested for human blood.
And were Layla's hairs (or probably Layla's hairs) found in the MH??
Non-human hairs were found in the MH. DNA was un-conclusive; Testimony has a search dog in the motorhome.
For the record, I believe the bugs.
Me too. (Bugs al-right ! Bugs crunchy and taste good with ketchup !)

Those dry cleaning reciepts have 3 different times on them and the computer was up and down. Maybe DW only went once, and maybe he wasn't naked, and maybe the clerk has the mind of a potato chip.

I found the "timing to be a little odd" with the carpet replacements, I'll cut the vDams some slack here. Luminol has a purple dye and standard print-dust is coal-black. Sprinkle some charcoal dust in front of your door-way and look at the carpet after a week.
selling & buying new cars as well.
It's been suggested that the van Dam d@mn van was leased. And the lease expired in Febuary ...
I don't know for it a fact, but it's reasonable.

Erma Bombeck is dead and Dave Barry isn't feeling too well either*. They're could be an opening for you.

small_l--did I succeed in making the point? This is the Westerfield -- van Dam thread. Not the K Currey vs. libertarian bashing thread.
To: gigi
Somebody posted that they would believe that DW was in that closet if he had cleaned it! So, do you think Martha Stewart drove the get-away RV ?

COme one, come all, jump to the new thread.

When this is over we need to order one of them Giant pizzas. Smoke a Big Bambu and wash it down with a sex pack of Red Bull... What do ya say? I'm in for the pizza. I'll bogart a 6-pac of Miller.
Pass on the Red-Bull and left-handed smokes.
Bob Marley on the stereo will do just fine ... "we'll share the shelter ..."

This is the Westerfield -- van Dam thread. Not the K Currey vs. libertarian bashing threadYou are correct, of course. And I apologize. It's pretty hypocritical of me, given my past rants about sticking to content.
Sorry.

"Some people just know everything"..
Well, Krodg, I don't.
I do know that Judge Mudd wants a conviction in his Courtroom. I do know that Feldman has requested the Jury be sequestered, the last plea was for Sequestration for Jury Deliberations. Denied. Even a couple of Juror's asked for this.
I do know that Judge Mudd is counting on the media giving him a hand swaying the Jury in the direction of a conviction. They have obliged.
I do know that as I type this, I am listening to Dan Abrams and Don Imus discussing this case right now.
Imus "the physical evidence is OVERWHELMING, isn't it? Westerfield DID do it, didn't he?" For the most part, all Press concerning DW is that "he did it", without question, without doubt, without knowing the full facts.
Abrams is explaining to him, the third party culpability defense. He is saying there is less outrage at the Defense in this case than he expected.
Abrams predicts a verdict today, but then again, he predicted one yesterday.
If the Jury comes back with a Verdict Today, I predict Guilty on all counts. A hung Jury would have taken longer, IMHO.

I get a drib and drab of him -- up to twenty minutes worth sometimes. Happened to just catch him mentioning the case once. Just in passing, negative as to the van dam lifestyle, just the end of thought really.
