We will not tire, we will not falter and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good Morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
US Airways Group became the first major airline to declare bankruptcy since the attacks of September 11, 2001.
Israel has announced they will not sit quietly in the event of an Iraqi attack in response to an American descent.
Authorities placed the Golden Gate Bridge on a "superheightened" state of alert yesterday as credible terrorist threats became known.
Algore may think he deserves another run for the Presidency, but he has had trouble where it counts - convincing donors he has that right. His ability to raise funds for another Presidential run has not been very good.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

YES! We need to make a decision as to where since I'd like to re-locate in an area where we'd retire if we had reached the appropriate age. Then we need to have a means of income in that area, so something internet related is a thought, then, see, we haven't really worked out the details.
Any ideas? Kayak says NC is beautiful!

In every possible way, x42 degraded the office he held ..... and continues to do so. There simply are no words to express the depth of my feelings about him and what he has done to this country!!!!!

I do hope that you'll come visit part of our mountains before making a decision ...... though I must say that the VA mountains are also lovely. The Shanandoah Valley (I know that's not how to spell it but have suddenly gone brain dead .... I'll feel like an idiot when I realize the right way to spell it) is really gorgeous.

LOL!! Ok ... moving the soaker hose .... Was that a hint about my lack of watering in my garden? It's actually a very good idea! I'll have to investigate getting one....

I forgot my notes!!! I was sitting in church, and thought I would go over them again, and they weren't in my scriptures. So I had to run home, and miss Sunday School to get them. But the talk did go well. I kind of changed the theme to not only a mother's righteous influence over her children, but a woman's righteous influence over children. There are many single women and widows in our ward (congregation), so hopefully I was able to touch everyone.

Gotta go! See you all later!

Good afternoon, 2/3rds! Yes, I heard some of Limbaugh, and he was on a tear, wasn't he?
HOB - Definitely add COL to your list of things to be concerned with. I've heard of a couple of recenetly retired couples who get tripped up living in high cost-of-living areas they've moved to.
To: Utah Girl
Making that change....excellent idea, UG. And you are the living, breathing example of such a powerful influence.

I missed it, but thanks for bringing me up to speed on it. I am so sick of the impeached, rapist, X42, I have no words to express my thoughts. Hate is not even close.

Folks, I'm getting ready to head on out. Later.

Okay, Here's the fall line-up ( for Christmas):
Fum, Fum, Fum, arr. by Shaw/Parker
Gloria, by Perry
White Christmas, Berlin
Cantate, by Leavitt,
Thou Shalt Know Him, by Sirett
Slumber Still, by Kral
What Sweeter Music, by Daley.
The last 4 are all new, plus we're doing one by one of our members.
The spring line-up is:
Long Time Ago, by Copland,
Kyrie, Michael Haydn,
Tantum Ergo, by Overland,
Come, Celebrate with Joyful Pleasure, a madrigal by Arcadelt, and
My Heart is Offered Still to You, another madrigal by Di Lasso,
All Things Bright and Beautiful, Rutter
Shenandoah, arr. by Crocker.
The first and the last 2 pieces we've done before.
Plus we're thinking about something very droll called The Mouse Madrigal....3 Blind Mice as a madrigal, not really difficult...and would be an audience pleaser....
Bet some of these, at least, are familiar to you. Remember we're talking, SSA, or SSAA here.
On the winter side, all 5 of us loved something called Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening, by Matthews, setting of the famous Frost poem, but just a little too challenging for the amount of practice we have together. Exquisite piece, tho....

Have a good evening Chair! Thanks for all you do.

ROTFLMAO.

Species, I too want to see it again.
It was very Hitchcockian with even the small part of the director as more than walk-on in the movie.
And yes, I've been pulling other thoughts together about it......it's beyond a simple 'alien invasion'....
...also, did you notice the cross taken off the wall.....but the imprint was still there.
...a very interesting movie!
kayak, yes, thank goodness, not as bad as last year!
Kay & DJ, I had a very nice nap, thank-you very much :)
Hi Thirds :)
Utah Girl, I appreciate the advice.........will think on it.
To: Dog
ewwwwwwwwww!!!!!
To: Molly Pitcher
Thanks, Molly!
I know some of the pieces, and most of the composers/arrangers. You can't go wrong with Shaw/Parker, Copland, Rutter, or just about any madrigal. They work well with SSA voices.
Is the Copland piece an arrangement, or an original? Do you know? He did some marvelous arrangements of old hymn-tunes that are hard to beat.

BREAKING NEWS B4!!! Guennie is taking a nap!!!
Wow! Who woulda' figured?
