We will not tire, we will not falter and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good Morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
A Lousiana state senator has said she will ask the US Air Force to aid in the fight against the West Nile Virus. It is not as far fetched as it might sound - they have a unit that specializes in insect control and eradication.
A British Sunday newspaper stated Saddam would admit weapons inspectors. It is believed to be a ploy to drive a wedge between Britain (where the notion of a war to topple Saddam is unpopular) and the United States (where it is popular).
President Reagan's condition is said to be worsening; he no longer knows who Nancy is. Prayers for an extrodinary American are in order.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Has your birthday calendar showed up yet? Or do we need to ask everyone to send you their birthdays again? Everyone except Bit, that is ...... we all know when his birthday is ...... every day! ... hehe!
Did you see this thread I pinged you to last night? I'd love to see you do some super-sleuthing and find out just what x42 knew and when he knew it. I think he may have been caught in a big fat lie (that's no surprise but this one could be significant!).
Clinton Admits: I Turned Down Bin Laden Extradition Offer
If you read on down the thread, you'll see that some of us tried to turn up some info ..... x42 claims that he turned down the chance to get OBL in '96 because we had no reason to want him at that time. I think by then we had connected him to the '93 bombing of the WTC but can't find verification.
I want to say Kolhbar(sp) Tower bombing...let me see when it happened..
Close to a smoking gun ....
The Soviets withdrew from Afghanistan in 1989. Bin Laden turned his attention to the United States and its allies in the Middle East. He also worked against the Saudi royal family. He was expelled from Saudi Arabia in 1991. Published reports say his fortune is pegged at $300 million. Other published reports say his family disowned him. Terrorism experts say bin Laden has been using his millions to fund attacks against the United States. One major U.S. effort against Al Qaeda is tracing and cutting off the money supporting the terror network.
When he left Saudi Arabia, bin Laden took refuge in Sudan. He continued his efforts against the United States and its allies. In 1996, Sudan expelled bin Laden due to threats of U.N. sanctions for bin Laden's complicity in an attempt to assassinate Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.
You would think the U.S.Government would have known this...
He praised the terrorist attack on Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia and promised more attacks on Americans.
