Hi CG.....hope you're doing better....is there medicine you take for your ear problem or do you have to rely on a bunch of 'do do this and don't do that' stuff?

My friend says that there are a lot more women that have been murdered. It is just that only three have been positively linked to the same man. She said that they have all opened the door to somebody they trusted and said that women are being warned not to open the door to UPS men, cops, anybody that they might normally not be concerned about. She just took a break to go watch the local news. I will update you if there is anything to report.

Well hopefully women will have a little training and good sense with and around a weapon.....if the news media would report on some of these bastards getting shot trying to attack women, a few of them may get the idea that it ain't nice to mess with momma!!

Well, things are settling down a little bit. Taco gets all sorts of special attention. I tried your suggestion of bringing him in while YumYum is outside. Well Yummie did not like it one little bit....that Taco sat on HIS bed! so I had to change the linens! sheesh...Yummie is the one really having the tough time..he looks inside and outside for Nacho and is a real grump and hisses and growls and just is kinda nasty. But I try to give him all sorts of attention and treats and I think it is helping him some. I really miss the little guy..Nacho...never could I go in the kitchen but he would somehow hear me and the MEOWING would start " FEED ME FEED ME FIRST ME FIRST" he would say...he was always the first to greet me in the morning with the others all in trace..He is really really missed big time. I have not heard any more from the vet..got a sympathy card yesterday...the bill can't be far behind...:( I hope she took advantage of the permission I gave her to look at him to see if in her professional experience she could help another kitty who may end up with advanced kidney failure but present NO symptoms..unusual case...

As for me..yesterday was pretty bad..I slept all day. I was just worn out from it all...forgot to do all sorts of errands as the message machine has been telling me today...I am coping but it is not easy.

As for the MeanEars...grrrrrrr it is hanging on...I have a really odd feeling that it may be going bilateral...If I keep having the same feeling by the first of next week I am going to hollar at the doc to give an order for me to get an appt with the ENT again. I just thank God I am not vestibular..that would be really really bad..dizzy and nausea and upchucking...I don't have that ( and I hope I never get it). By the way, thanks for all your support and suggestions during these last few weeks and especially in the mailbox during this week.

The news story last night said that the women in that area are taking all sorts of self defence courses and pistol training etc. I'm sure our Darlin is taking every precaution. I hope she has a big dog with big teeth too.

I bought a Sig .40 cal, semi, in a mid-sized frame, thinking the wife would love it. She has a really hard time retracting the slide and chambering a round. I guess she's stuck with the S&W .357 mag. revolver.

No, never worked cattle with him. Rode him bareback in the Garden of the Gods though and he could sure work the rocks and bushes. Hehehe... Nearly put me off a few times.
