finished making cookies for the grand kids who should be on the ground at LAX as we type..They have a 3 hour ride home now...Got to get the cats tucked in and me ..got to gear up for all the noise to come..happy noise to be sure..

Tomorrow I pick up two more teenage boys at the airport.... they are Garrett's friends from Washington. For 10 days I will have 5 BIG teen boys to feed. This visit was not my idea.

Five Die in Dallas Home Shooting
DALLAS (AP)--Five people, including a mother and her two young daughters, were shot to death Sunday night at a Dallas residence. One person was wounded.
Police said they took the woman's husband into custody for questioning and recovered a semiautomatic handgun.
``I've talked to some of the neighbors that live out here who heard the shots. They said it was like a string of fireworks going off,'' Dallas police homicide Sgt. Gary Kirkpatrick said outside the home in a blue-collar neighborhood.
Kirkpatrick identified the dead as the man's wife, their two daughters, her father and a woman in her 20s. Kirkpatrick wasn't sure of the relationship between the two women. He said a woman who was wounded appeared to be a sister.
The bodies were found in the living room and kitchen of the home. Four of the victims were dead at the scene. The Dallas Morning News reported that a 1-year-old girl died in the hospital and four victims died inside the home.
The wounded woman fled the house and ran for help.
