Remeber, Arafat never negotiated anything until after the gulf war. And then he dragged things out for 7 years. He was hoping Saddam would get the bomb before clinton left office. He gambled and lost. I just hope Bush does not miss his appointment with history.

Definitely something different needs to be done. The "peace process" is a tragic sham. If you want peace, then defeat your enemy and live in peace. Liberals won't even acknowledge that people who want to kill you are your enemies. They are just friends you haven't made yet.

Arafat never wanted to negotiate peace. After the Gulf War, he was a dead man. Clinton gave him another chance by legitimizing him. Arafat dragged out negotiations while Saddam worked on his WMD. When it became clear in the fall of 2000 gore was likely to lose the election, Arafat kicked off Intifada II.

Konstantin Petrov was just another immigrant, who came to this country. Like all of us or our forefathers did. He came here to work and worked hard to support his Mother and small sisters in Estonia. He was the only bread-winner to his relatives.

His family should be proud. He is what America is all about.

Not if they are careful and majority of the time they are from what I have seen .. They find their target and get it ..

They only one I have seen that wasn't to smart was the bombing of the apartment building .. that was not a smart move

The carnage in Israel today is just one more bloody chapter in Bubba's legacy - an early chapter. It will be much worse before it gets better and we can close that horror book.

The blame for the civilian deaths in the apt building lies with the civilians who didn't turn in the wanted man living among them - but instead let this bloodthirsty murderer hide away in the midst of their families where he could recruit their children to become suicide bombers for Hamas.

I understand your point Val .. but for me that doesn't justify bombing the building .. unless there was another reason for it that I am not aware of .. But since Israel came out and apologized I'm taking that there wasn't

Israel could have gotten him in another way .. they have a very good military and an excellant intellegence agency ..
