See I have no idea the local media is blowing this out of proportion. This has been at the top of the stories on the news so far today.

The thing is, Naperville is a large city and the area where this soybean field is, is located around a heavy traffic area. So it is odd that the police couldn't catch anyone in the act when two busy roads are right by this field.

Like I said I am heading out there later on today to check it out for myself.

One day back in the mid-70's when I was driving a tractor on the family farm in Tennessee I happened apone a strange, perfectly circular indentation in one of our wheat fields. This was maybe twenty years before I ever heard of a "crop circle".

I recall turning around and bringing the tractor alongside to stop and ponder it for a few minutes - and if you knew about my dad's "sunny dispostion" you'd know that taking a break was a very *rare* occurance.

Since that day I've walked in many interesting and secret places - the hallways of NASA - inside nuclear bunkers - but never since have seen anything as completely strange as that one simple circle.

Yeah, I can't believe the soybean police didn't jump right on two guys in a field. I mean, I know the police can't be everywhere, but this is soybeans, in Illinois, in an open field ... incredible the police weren't watching for this ....
