You're welcome, OCC.....loddy seems to get such a kick out of them. And, of course, with Cuttnhorse being from here and the newspaper delivery to Chile very bad, he enjoys likewise.

I find the war years interesting cause of the rationing and other things they did to keep the country united and together on the home front.

And, of course, the really old stuff I find delightful including how the newspapers actually wrote text.

What on earth would anybody want with a picture with Al Gore???? Good grief. I would be mortified to have anybody see me posing with him for a picture....not that I would do it in the first place.

No. Nothing like that. He has never been able to even open Free Republic, even without logging on. He's never posted anything. He can get to other sites, but he says it's slow. I told him to try from a different computer; that I thought the problem was in the computer.
