Do you get all 'scientific' in making yer bets (pouring over stats of previous performances), or do you just bet on the cutest gal jockies, saddlecloth colors, numbers......or like I enjoy doing....I like to bet the top two or 3 longest shots at win-place-show! There's some big bucks to be made that way.....course you have to bet them first! :)

Do ya ever watch or go to harness racing? I like trotters better than pacers....they'd be cheap enough to get into ownership of....well, them and quarter horses. One thing with the quarters is if you blink, you done missed the race.

It ain't much of a guy thang, but I used to love to watch the quarters when they literally had baby races....they take the mommas to one end of the stretch and the babies to the other.....them babies would get all excited not being with their mommas; when they let them go, those little shits could take off like a streak of lightening! Their reward wasn't no bunch of flowers--they got their milk bottles!

Ya know, I been thinkin' bout how Miss Mollie feels towards you.....could be you're as friendly as a little puppy dawg makes her somehow feel threatened over all the attention she gets....could that be it, maybe?
