Albertson's Inc. is jettisoning its apostrophe, to the chagrin of two Oregon grammarians.
The missing apostrophe, dropped last spring in legal papers and official documents, has not gone unnoticed.

In February 2000, Roy Paul Nelson and John Benneth noticed the apostrophe was missing from a sign.

They formed the American Apostrophe Association and demanded that the mark be restored.

But the possessive punctuation never returned to the signs.

Actually chasing A bat. My mom had a bat get in her house and it was my job to convince it to leave. Chased it all over the house and finally confined it to one of the bedrooms. I eventually caught him in a bath towel and tossed him out the window. He was a big (by my standards) sucker too, at least a 10 inch wingspan.

Now shes freaked out there may be more around.

OMG....I saw a movie a while back. Can't remember what it was, where they were trying to "encourage" a bat to leave the house. It was hilarious.

If it was a comedy, I'm sure I resembled it. (although I didnt have a tennis raquet or smash any vases)

I used to do cave tours. I kinda enjoy bats in small numbers. Don't think I'd like to do that at someplace like Carlsbad that is overrun with them though. I wouldn't like having to wear headgear all the time to protect my hair from guano.

LOL .. to be honest I don't know a whole lot about Mark Schweiker .. he has played low even after Ridge left

He did step in and took control of the Philly Schools because they were so bad .. which pissed off the unions .. so he has a plus from me for that

He's not running for election in Novemeber .. It's between Fisher and Rendall
