I finally made a decision on a computer and ordered it this a.m. I can't believe I spent as much time as I did studying different ones! Actually, some of the time was reading about different operating systems, as well as some other software packages....I wouldn't last without a word processing or desktop type publishing program.

By not getting in a panic to have the new one 'now', by waiting a week, I can save all the shipping costs by having it sent to a store in town. :)

All I need to do now is finish cleaning out my bookmarks here (I've already deleted over 500 of them!) and cleaning out some files on my 'puter.

If you ever do that to your son, they will tote you off to jail and put him in a foster home. It's like parents are not even ALLOWED to discipline their children any more because it isn't PC. Might damage their little psyches. But it is perfectly ok to mock their religious beliefs, teach them the Quran, promote acceptance of perversion as a normal alternative, but God forbid we should teach them anything that might actually have some value.
