Disregard my last message, as both names ping back to the same IP Address.
The fault must be with this browser, as not recognizing the name 'freerepublic.com' as being the same as 'www.freerepublic. com.'
I thought it would be highly unuusual for JohnRob to use separate IP's for those different DNS names.

I agree with that, but repercussions should remain in the context of the situation and between the individuals involved and does not belong in the domain of government interference. And that is the way it is. There are no "hate speech" laws in the United States. The last one I can think of was the Sedition Act and it was found unconstitutional over 150 years ago, and anyway applied only to hate speech against the government

My browser must be finicky enough, that it doesn't think that 'freerepublic.com,' and 'WWW.freerepublic.com' are the same machines, so it doesn't send back my login cookie as an HTTP arg. Therefore, when I click on your links, it is as if I have logged out, and am now a guest.
You silly Yanquis can't even link correctly can you??

I read an article not too long ago on FR about a man being arrested in New Jersey or Maryland or somewhere up north, for using the *N* word in public. I don't know what the outcome was or even if it has yet been resolved, but the point is that it happened.

Of course, it would be much easier for me to just login at one of your links, and then every time after that, it wouldn't matter...
But that wouldn't leave me with any reason to chastise you.
To: sweetliberty
I think I remember that story and thinking there was more to the story then just saying the "N" word

Did y'all read my post to you last night about the new FReeper who can't access the site? I have to go out of town in about an hour, but I wanted to try to email him whatever suggestions I could before I leave. Do you think that what you're talking about Ratty, could be part of the problem?

But that wouldn't leave me with any reason to chastise you. Oh I'm not worried because you live for that .. hehe

I don't know what the outcome was or even if it has yet been resolved, but the point is that it happened. Some silly assed City Council can pass any law it wants, but they are always overturned on the first case. The mayor here, who ran as being "More Liberal than Teddy Kennedy" has gotten the council to pass laws he admits are unconstitutional cause they sound good to his voters. They are always thrown out.

Yes, but from the info I read, I couldn't think of anything easy to recommend, without knowing a lot more.

Wow, loddy......I don't know if everybody's computer shows the same colors, but on mine the clouds and their reflection in the water are a coppery color; and against that almost mystical shade of blue, it is awesome.
BTW, where the boat is in the water.....did you pick up on the near-star design?
To: sweetliberty
Good morning, sweet....
To: gratefulwharffratt
Oh. Well, I've sent him all the usual suggestions. There does seem to be some access problems in his area. A friend FReepmailed me a link to that information, so maybe that's the problem. He was gonna try to log on from work and see if it went any better, then at least he'd know whether or not it is his computer.
To: Servant of the Nine
Pssssst, Servant......it really is a good day-any time ya wake up, it's a good day! :)
