His method of testing it was to inflict wounds on himself and then use the jelly to see what the effects were.At least he didnt use animals! PETA would approve.

Good luck with the gig. According to my Austin Energy bill, which tries to get "voluntary money" to help the less fortunate here, 21,000 jobs went away last year.
They didn't say how many were created - but 21K is as big as my home town - lotsa folks.

We parked in a town outside WashDC and took the metro train into the city. We got off at the Smithsonian stop and walked to the museums from there and could see the capitol and the washington monument. We didn't see all there was to see by a long shot, though. It was very hot and crowded - and dusty. We were there the day after the big 4th of July fireworks show (Maybe we were there July 5th?? *L*) and I think the city had a bit of a hangover. It was nice to not have to worry about parking and driving in traffic.

I'll probably be here off and on all day -- just have to drive kids around for a few minutes at a time.

The energy company wants to solicit money for the "poor" -- but they don't like to help out the poor with it.

I worked for EDS and they changed thier policy just before laying people off in 2001. Under 5 years of work = 2 wks severence, over 5 years = 4 wks severence pay. Lotsa lifers were pi$$ed off!
