A couple from the northeastern United States is working with American fertility expert Dr. Panos Zavos to have the world's first cloned baby.

Hundreds of people gathered in New York to discuss plans for what to do with the WTC site. Plans are to be narrowed to three next month, and the final one chosen in December.

Mozie ~~~ once when hubby was off for summer camp with the National Guard it was all over the news that a Guardsman had been killed by lightning ...... I was panicked! I didn't hear from him until the weekend ..... by then I had figured out that he was ok or they would have notified me. Turned out that he was in a different area altogether and didn't even know about it til I told him.

But I understand how you're feeling right now ......

Sounds like you had a really good weekend! Did you go to the museum?

No we didn't make it to the museum...if you can believe this, the MP's wouldn't let us on post..even tho I am an employee they said if we wanted to sightsee we had to take the tour bus (THE PAYING TOUR BUS)..so we nixed that and went and had drinks at a cafe along the river....but the weekend was very fun.....BBIAB, gonna take Chaos for icecream now.

I'm back here on base. I took pictures of the old post-office (still in use, BTW), and the chapel, and Wilford Hall. I may not get a chance to post them until a couple of weekends from now.

When my son was growing up, that was his favorite place to go on a Sunday afternoon. Sit on the well under the Live Oak tree. Makes me homesick just thinking about it. Oh and I do miss the Alamo Cafe too. The one on 281. Hmmmmmm, now I am really homesick.
