On display there is something we all could use:
The KGB created the "Kiss of Death" -- a loaded gun that looked like tube of lipstick. This 4.5 mm single shot weapon easily could be hidden in a purse. This pistol was discovered during the Cold War at a border crossing into West Berlin.
Yeah, un-indicted co-conspirators, like his wife.

A Spielberg in the making ... Chaille Stovall with President Bush.(then Gov.)
Chaille is 10yrs. old here.
Chaille Stovall's first documentary, Boyz In Tights, was screened in 1998. Since then he has interviewed George W. Bush and been evicted from a US Democratic party convention for asking the wrong kind of questions. [He did get some great interviews before they tossed him out] He is 13 years old.
Earlier this year, Stovall gave an address on creativity to a technology conference in California. In June (during school holidays), he will direct his first full-length movie, Camp Grizzly, making him Hollywood's youngest director.
That Stovall is a single child may have added to his self-possession, but he is no brat. His two favourite pieces of celluloid are 2001: A Space Odyssey and Drop Dead Gorgeous. He adores jokes, practical or otherwise. His conversation is dramatised with the sounds of explosions. [snip] Link
[snip] From NYTimes Arts and Leisure: For months, Chaille was denied access to the campaign's stars. He hounded different candidates' headquarters, calling 10 to 12 times a week. "No one believed that a 10- year-old kid was making a documentary for HBO," he said.
"My calls were not returned," he continued. "If someone did call, their response was, `And how old are you?' " His first big break came when the office of the Texas governor and Republican candidate George W. Bush agreed to a sit-down interview.
"As a mom, you're always impressed when you see other parents supporting their children and helping them realize their dream," said Karen P. Hughes, counselor to President Bush. "It was clear that Chaille was making the decisions on how to conduct the interview. Both the president and I were very impressed."
Soon after his meeting with Mr. Bush in Austin, Tex., Chaille got interviews with Al Gore, Alan Keyes, Elizabeth Dole, Bill Bradley and other candidates. [snip] Link
Chaille at 13.
I can smell your Oriental Lilies from here. Mmmmmmmmm!
Have some work this morning to take care of, back this evening. HLL said she would start the next thread. Thank you HLL! Everybody have an excellent day!
News: Jennifer Lopez was hiding Ben Affleck in her home all weekend, so I guess they're an item (see Cindy Adams' column).
WHICH political candidate is playing with fire? He brought his last little D.C. chickadee to his home state and put her on staff. The whispers are deafening and might reach his wife.
And this, for what it's worth:
THE Aussie tabs overestimated Bill Clinton when they reported the Horndog-in-chief was cavorting Down Under with New Zealand TV dish Charlotte Dawson. Sources close to the busty blonde report Dawson is actually romping with one of Bubbas Secret Service men.
"She hit it off with one of Clintons younger, fitter, more strapping, macho security guys," the tipster tells PAGE SIX. Soon well all be able to get an eyeful of the "Hows Life" hostess, since Dawsons bodyguard beau is a New Yorker whos about to fly her here for a romantic rendezvous.
IT'S been a while since Mayor Mike Bloomberg was a practicing Democrat, [What, about two minutes?] but he is still comfortably at home with his nominal opposition. Former City Council President Andrew Stein, a Democrat, gave a dinner for his Hizzoner at La Grenouille the other night at which everyone praised Bloomie for his management skills.
Peter Peterson and Joan Ganz Clooney were the nominal GOPers present along with Nick Pileggi and Nora Ephron, Barbara Walters, the Martin Scorseses, and former Random House editor Helen Morris.
As reported here at the Guild last week, Bloomberg recently dined with Terry McAuliffe. Republican, my Aunt Fanny!
