Spell check in Outlook Express is a big bother... I need to de-activate mine. I activated it a few months ago, and am annoyed by it. It's under "tools" - to the bottom of the menu - "options" - there's a "spelling" tab
To: lodwick
Spell check can be found in tools/options/spelling tab in Outlook, Outlook Express should be similar.

Well I'm glad it makes sense to you

For animations to show in IE -- look under tools, then internet options, then the "advaced" tab... about halfway down there's a multimedia section, and a box to click to play animations on webpages.

I still have it .. I didn't want to get rid of it till I knew how to work IE
Must always have a back up plan .. LOL
Another thing on IE .. I can't click onto a thread but I can click onto a post #

AOL is an awful program that messes with other browsers. It is infectious. I won't allow it on my computers ever again. When it is removed, IE may work better.

Thanks, I'll see if I can unearth it. The icon is there, but it's way faint and functionally unmashable.
Mo - check out DirecTV. They're having a "special" for 30 bones/month for three months, plus a free printer. Thereafter the cost is 50, but they'll get the speed up to 1.5mbs on your downloads.
Don't go back!

Listen to Val, she has a valid idea (dont want to give her credit unless it works!)
To: Mo1
Clicking onto a thread opens a new browser window.. a post number just opens up the current window (sometimes)

Thanks, I'll see if I can unearth it. The icon is there, but it's way faint and functionally unmashable. Doh! Thats not good. The last resort is always to delete and re-install the program.
