Y'all, it's 92* here and the heat index is 101*. Too danged hot to be outside. My yardman has a broken ankle and hasn't been here for at least 2 weeks. If I don't get the yard mowed in the next day or two I think my neighbors will have my yard condemned. LOL

Seriously, it is a disgrace. My sweet yardman has been trying to find someone to cover his clients but all the good ones have all the business they can handle. It took me forever to find this one. I'm sure I could find someone to fill in but with all that has been going on here, I'm really reluctant to hire someone that isn't well known by people I trust.

With all the kids out of school you should be able to find someone. I used to pay some kid 10 bucks to cut mine when I was to lazy. The pross wanted $40.

I'm afraid the "kids" in my neighborhood wouldn't be caught dead mowing a yard. The college kids I know are either working or gone for the summer. I may have to go buy a mower and do it myself. LOL OMG, did I say that ? LOL LOL. It really is that bad.

A friend of mine is still laughing over the riding mower with headlights her husband bought. She can't recall ever seeing him use it on a cloudy day much less at night. Says it just sits there in the garden house because their landscapers bring their own. I said why don't you get rid of it. She said, Not on your life, it's leverage. LOL
