Well my mother was a young mother with 7 children and had to WORK for her annual income of 8,000 a year

That is the equivilent of $32,000 today. If you are not a government employee, you make more and can pay for your own insurance or not, as you please

If you are a soldier, government agent. you are getting a lower pay scale and your can't get normal insurance. You are also more likely to die. They deserve subsidized policies if they wish to purchase them.

We have to bring military families up to parity with civilian families if we expect to be the party of Family Values
