At shopping malls and supermarkets across the county, nearly 4,000 residents voted on topics like favorite holiday, best president, greatest American athlete and favorite patriotic landmark. About 73 percent of voters said the words "under God" should stay in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Just give voters a punch card for each race with the candidates listed on it - and a manual hole puncher - no ballot machine necessary. The solution to confusing ballots is not more technology, but less.

I have spent a lot of time in museums, and every single picture of Jesus I have ever seen in any museum or Art Book has been a depiction of a specific scene from the Gospels.

You might as well draw Jesus playing lead guitar for Elvis if you are gonna just make it up.
