    Brilliant thinking Nully.

Here's another one from near where we camped.

Maybe you're in the wrong line of work. You should be a judge. You would be good at it. Okay, you would be much better at it than any of those people on the 9th circuit court.
To: ValerieUSA
Only had to swear at a stupid driver once. Were you looking in the rearview mirror?

    No.
To: ValerieUSA
    Oh.

Must have been in D.C. or GA.
To: sweetliberty
The air is much clearer there despite the fires than in the Blue Ridge Mtns for distant viewing.

I don't remember, all I know is that I had to threaten to abandon the kids by the side of the road if they dared to flip off a driver while I was behind the wheel... it's not civilized. Calling them doo-doo heads is acceptable.
To: ValerieUSA
Actually, there wasn't much evidence of smoke up in Buena Vista where we camped. Where you could really tell was on Pikes Peak and to an extent on the ride up to it.

What are you going to do with the rope? I have soft, smooth skin - I hope it doesn't chafe.
To: ValerieUSA
Calling them doo-doo heads is acceptable. Civilized but not very satisfying...

There were lots of motocycle riders on the parkway -- that's the best way to take in the view of the drive.

The Rockies and the Appalachians each have their own unique kind of beauty. The Rockies are rugged and much of them are above timberline. The Appalachians are so green and beautiful and I always loved the fog that hangs over them in the early mornings and often at night as well, although it can make for some trecherous driving. Snow in the Rockies is no picnic to drive in either though.

Okay, you would be much better at it than any of those people on the 9th circuit court.Sadly, this is not difficult...

To: ValerieUSA
This is the on the ride up Pikes Peak.

To: null and void
True, but it was still meant as a compliment.

Beautiful America pics Valerie - keep'em coming. I hope you had a good time, and a good visit with your patriot son. JL
I know you're glad to be back home.;-)

There wasn't much that we did that Tyler didn't like.
