I, too, cannot remember the last time I actually went to a movie. Our cable was out over the weekend so we actually rented some, "The Others" and "Rat Race". I liked "The Others" it had some good plot twists, gave me a couple of good jumps, and had a good suprise ending. "Rat Race" was really silly, but good silly. It has a stupid ending, but for the most part is really light-hearted funny.
I can't bring myself to watch "Ocean's Eleven". I can't stand just about everyone in it except for Andy Garcia and Don Cheadle. I am kind of disappointed to hear about Ya-Ya Sisterhood. I really like Sandra Bullock. Does it stink because it is not like the book or stink because it just stinks?
Oh, for those who don't know, "Steel Magnolias" was just released on DVD. I love that movie. "You know I'd rather walk on my lips than talk bad about anybody..."

I like Steel Magnolias at least 10x better than YaYa. It portrays Southern Women and their friendships so much better.
Okay, here goes for YaYa...why I did not like it....I simply did not like the character Ashley Judd portrayed and what she did when she was a young mother and then how the film seemed to justify her actions....in true liberal fashion, blame it on her mother, etc....I had read how the scene was filmed and it turned my tummy....Judging by your compassionate nature as evidenced by the little boy in the parking lot incident, you would not like it either. I do not want to be a spoiler so cannot be more explicit but I will freep mail you if you want to know what the heck I am referring to...LOL...
But in its favor, Sandra Bullock, Ashley, Maggie - they were all great, the clothes were great, and there were some laughs....

"...but if you do, come sit by me."I watched Steel Magnolias again for the umpteenth time a week ago. I laughed as hard as ever. And cried at the appropriate times. I love "Louisa." H*ll, I am Louisa.
