I am not certain how much work the FBI is doing, although there were several articles commenting about this at the time of the arrest of Jose Padilla.

I imagine with the gang and Muslim connections of Padilla, there are ongoing investigations which have not been made public.

The other group I am concerned about is the eco-terrorists. Yesterday they took over a building in Portland in order to push their anti-logging agenda against a bank.

It occurred to me that they could be testing tactics for a group with more sinister goals, who would be armed with more than love beads.

I have my leave of absence forms completed. I'm going to take vacation days Thurs and Fri. So, I only have today and tomorrow in the office. That wailing noise you hear coming from Texas is my assistant, realizing just how much extra work there will be.

The Michael Jackson thing is getting pretty ugly. Apparently an anonymous Sony executive says that the problem isn't racism, but Jackson's pedophilia. (This is what the Fox reporter said quoting the New York Daily News.)

Ugh ... my neighbors are out of town, so I have been watering their plants ... as well as mine. I, years ago, helped design their flower beds ... so it's kinda fun ...

ought to broadcast that press conference... ... there is talk that this is exactly their plan ... and it's more than one ... it's nearly every one!

They are also planning to "liberally" make use of her earlier and beyond ridiculous campaign slogan ... which claimed it was/is her Indispensable Destiny to become Governor of Maryland. HAR!

Jemian ... I have been thinking about your parents' property. Call your local Horticulture Extension ... often they will send people out to help you clear out old brush and weeds ... vines and plants. Also, contact any college in the area which has a horticulture department. They frequently make use of situations such as yours to train undergraduates in field work!!

Seriously, that's a frightening thought. They are obviously hostile to American ingenuity and capitalism, business and progress, and not at all opposed to using violent methods. That could dovetail nicely into the anti American culture philosophy of the terrorists.

I will do just that. Perhaps you know that my parents live in the town where the greatest university in the south is located, AUBURN University. It does have an excellent horticultural school and I'll suggest to Dad to do just that.
