And the President is pushing his plan of tough new penalties on corporation leaders who undertake corporate fraud.

South Africa is planning to create a welfare state where EVERYONE aged 7 to 65 gets benefits.

Yes, EVERYONE! Granted it is only $10/month, it is still the totality of the population (7 to 65) getting $10/month.

How will it be financed? Through "slightly higher taxes on the middle class and affluent."

Also, there will be no bureaucracy - they simply will hand out the checks. But note the floor on the age range. Want to make a bet this promotes all kinds of sexual behavior? In a country that has one of the highest rates of AIDS infection in the world! This is an astonishing policy.
