Chair, check on the Hoover Dam site. My cousin, (her daughter just got married in Las Vegas) just told my Dad that the dam is closed due to security reasons. he wanted to take a trip there while in Las Vegas.

Great Falls, Montana was a great place! Loved the people there, but I don't remember great hamburgers.... the steaks were fabulous!

We started telling our Grandchildren that Michael Jackson was a pedophile years ago and to PLEASE don't support his "sickness" by purchasing his records. From what we understand, lots of parents and grandparents felt the same way and the message was received by the teenagers.

We also told them that his main goal in life was to become a white woman - it appears it was an achievable goal.

Any recent news about your son?

Quite a bit. I'm going to prepare an 'official' update for tomorrow for the Canteen and FR's Finest, but he continues to love what he's doing!

He's learned hand to hand combat, and use of bayonets, which he loves. He's almost halfway done, a bit homesick and missing his freedom, but making friends, witnessing, and sure that he's exactly where God wants him to be!

And a very rainy **I LOVE RAIN*** morning to you all from sunny :) ...Florida.

My houseguests left early this AM......around 7ish, and then I had to run down I-95 about 40 miles to go to the doctor with Mom & Dad.

The 'Matriarch Magnolia' loved the new house...especially noting there's a big Magnolia imprinted on my front porch bench....(I hadn't even noticed!)

...A bunch of us Mags went to see Lord of the Rings ....for the 2nd, 3rd time....(this time I actually watched it, instead of hiding behind my hands)

....The 2 Mags came home with me, and we stayed up drinking hot tea & chatting, & catching up on life events.

....Judi, my visiting Mag, is a former missionary to Nigeria.
We parted this AM with a few tears and lots of picture taking.
She's driving back to Chattanooga by herself (& w/her 10 yr.old)

I was up at 5AM making quiche, & getting blueberries ready......and putting on the teapot, and setting out the glass plates, and Magnolia napkins.

It was such fun.............John, I think I'm a frustrated bed & breakfast type.....

....My 2 Mag sisters said I should do this as a ministry......Open my home to wayfarers ...(missionaries, & folks who've moved away & come back to visit, and prolly some political folks too..****Mag's sister's husband is ...'chief of staff' in DC.... for our congressman.)

.....I kinda like the idea.

I love to do all the frou frou stuff with china & flowers & candles......

...Or maybe, John, I can assist Trill with the home decor stuff at your bed & breakfast.
I work cheap......LOL

Well, think I'd better take an early nap............it's already been a long day.
