Let's just come clean and call Free Republic what it really is.... The He-man Women Hating Club.
Here is a SMALL sampling of the absolute hate for women on this forum. I won't paint all men with a broad brush, because I have known and met some fabulous men here who truly treasure and cherish women, and ***gasp*** even respect them!!!!
So let's clean up our act, shall we fellas? Notice the vile things that are said about women here on a daily basis.
Don't say ..." I really love women, but they are all a bunch of feminazis who screw over men and want their money and kids". It takes two to tangle, guys. All your problems are not our fault.

Best statement of the thread. Reminds me of the parable in the Bible of the fellow that hires some people in the morning to do some work for an agreed 1 buck. Later in the day (say midday) he hires some more and says they will be paid fairly, then in the evening he hires a couple more people. Well at the end of the day, he pays them all equally 1 buck. The ones that worked all day complained they should be paid more. But life ain't always "fair" is it. Get over it and go on. The wise know this and keep moving along...
So I want to be included in that fine list of conservative men you keep. I thank God above for my wife everyday. How she puts up with me is beyond comprehension and worthy to believe in God above as answering my prayers. I prayed for a good woman for years and God answers prayers in His time when He thinks we are ready.
I'll double my efforts to find an anti-male story. :)

Funny you should mention that. I've noticed it too.
It took 6 months to recover, and to add insult to injury, she got away with it. The lawyer was disbarred and thrown out of the State (NY). That's punishment? That's like being kicked out of the Book of the Month Club. Everybody has a sad story or knows someone who does.

Instead, you post, "I've known...," "and then...," "You see..." You've failed to post any examples from the thread in question. Because there were no no death threats on that thread - because you just made it up.
When you can't post facts from the source, you go elsewhere to get them. You ducked RBA's question entirely, primarily because you can't answer it truthfully.
Face it. What you were claiming existed on that thread existed only in your mind.
They wanted to, so they said, see women get total equality with men. That equality should be in the jobs market, wages, female responsibility, such as (thumbs up for)single motherhood, financial with the obvious goal of making men useless to the new American woman. Demonizing men and sex was the final nail in the coffin of the American Family.
Little boys have been turned into little sissies. Girls are taught they are better than boys. Undeserved overblown self esteem is esential, competition is bad for self esteem. Children should be pandered to at all costs, or their self esteem will suffer. It never occurs to them that childen join a family and society and must learn to function within both frames. Parents are not the kids best friends, they are the adults in the family. Adults should teach their children to be civil, and to stand up for what they are taught and know is right. Children need to be taught how to behave, that's why they have parents.
If the young women put as much effort into a loving relationship with thier husbands as they do criticising and denegrating every action, then what they say they want would be theirs. Men indulge in this unfortunate form of communication (?) also, and it is an eventual killer. I listen to the young marrieds in my neighborhood and am amazed at the hostility desguised as joking.
So, now we have a world racially divided by the Liberal Democrats, we have class envy, we have economic division, Political party mayhem kept alive and well by Democrats and we have male against female and visa versa. Nice work girls!
Men and Women are DIFFERENT. They were designed that way. The natural differences are good, not bad. Why would any woman want a man who is a wimp? Why would any man want a woman who wants to be just like him? Equality in relationships and marriage is good, if each has their area of expertise where one or the other excells, and the other lets them, that is good and what it is all about. Everything does not need to be reduced to a competition for supremacy over the other. It should be about love, and wanting the best for yourselfs and families and working together to achieve that goal.
I rant, but it is really simple, and the NOW gang has made it very difficult.
Stand up for what you want, men, and don't take any crap, girls, and lighten up, for heaven's sake. It should be fun.

Most of the men here have brains as large as their hearts, but every once in a while you get the losers like the guy who posts the male/female voting color map just to create divisions among conservatives here. Then there are the guys who can't get female companionship without paying and take out their frustrations on the rest of us. I firmly believe that many of these are also just democrat disruptors. Worms like this can be squished by peer pressure.
A real conservative believes in individualism and knows that a person can only be judged on their own merit. I will fight alongside any likeminded individual in the culture war against socialism.
Ping me anytime you like; I'm always glad to speak up for a united conservative movement. The losers (I have a list) sure enough do, so I may as well hear from someone intelligent.
