I'll have to ask my sister about sedation. He was probably sedated to be shaved, and it hadn't worn off completely yet. I can't imagine that he'd sit quietly to be shaved and photographed.

Ringy, just finished reading the thread and just give your sister a big hug from all of us here and tell her we are all praying for her to find comfort and peace in these difficult days. No one can know how a mother feels who has lost a child no matter the age of the child unless one has been there. But many of us here do understand loss of parents and brothers and sisters and the hopeless feelings of isolation and depression that comes with it. It is a normal part of the process of coming to terms and there is no right way and no time limit..just let her know she has many out here in FRworld who share in concern for her and have her close in heart..That goes for you too!
