It's always hard to lose someone like that. The pain will be less sharp over time, but you'll always remember him.

Since you've been gone, I have some news. We bought a gorgeous home on Tuesday, and will be moving the 1st of August. It's not what I had considered a "starter" home, it looks like something I'd expected to trade up to. We went shopping for a refrigerator and other kitchen stuff today. The kitchen appliances all need upgrades, but that's minor. I'm thrilled! I'll have magnolia trees, a redwood, citrus trees, apple, and other lovely stuff in the yard.

OOOOOhhhhhhhhh. That sounds really wonderful. I am so glad. :) I will need updates on this project. :) My plans have been somewhat altered. I must see to my Sister. She is destroyed over this. They were so close. He needed her more than the others do, I guess. Anyway, she really doesn't want to live anymore. It's a horrible, difficult thing. Enough about me. I am so exicted for you. The house sounds great. I want to know more. :)

Your poor sister really does need special treatment now so she doesn't retreat - it's a natural reaction to just withdraw, then it becomes a habit and being involved in life again feels more and more awkward.

Um, no, you didn't.

When I get photos, I'll email them. The backyard borders on greenbelt (local open space), the master bedroom overlooks the open space. The bathrooms have skylights, the kitchen is adequate (i'll be working on that) the family room has a fireplace. Much more than I expected to find. Great neighborhood, as well.
