I was born and raised in Philly and I loved every moment of it .. was Proud to call myself a Phily Girl

But I left and didn't look back ..

WHY ???

The taxes are too high

The Insurance was to high

The crime rate is too high

The neighborhoods are literally falling apart

The Unions control if not all .. they do control most of Philly ..

The schools suck which is why many Non-Catholic in Philly send their kids to Catholic School

Even though the trashman work 28 hours a days (according to the payroll) I was lucky if I got my trash picked up and that is not counting when the go on strike .. then you can just fuhgedaboudit

Should it snow .. fuhgedaboudit also .. you are outta luck

I could go on ...

Philly use to be a wonderful place to live .. but now most of it is just a pit

Get all the Southern Fried Chick Flics from "Gone With The Wind" to "Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood", take her phone, tie her to a chair, and make her watch over and over and over till she is programmed or deprogrammed, depending on how you wanna look at it.

Hi all... well, we got nowhere today. I'm all the way across the bridge from where we were last night. The van can't be fixed until tomorrow morning.
The van died on the road this morning across the street from precision auto tune, so they had the van there for 5 hours and couldn't figure out what was wrong - a tow truck took us to Ford and they have to wait until morning to look at it . Everyone has been very nice - no one has charged us anything except the tow truck driver - but tomorrow I'll probably get a good bill from Ford.

There is a historic district here in Columbus, but I'm nowhere near it, and have no transportation. I'm going to the grocery store across the street and getting a bottle of wine. It's time to drink. *LOL*
