Mo, you may think Southern accents are difficult to understand but even we can't always understand a strong cajun accent. Its charming but bewildering. LOL Justin Wilson still has a cooking show on PBS. He has the very mildest of Cajun accents. It blends from there to 16th century French in a continuum. It is hard to even know which language they are speaking.

Ok oh smart one .. I'm looking for a song .. but I keep finding these Mp3 .. exactly how do they work??? The microsloth player and the realplayer and Winamp all play mp3s automagically, but they have been locking my machine up when you link to them. Where is Ratty?

Val, your pictures are wonderful as always. You will love Savannah! When I was stationed in Beaufort, SC, Savannah was one of my favorite places to go. Groups of us used to go to the Pirate's House Restaurant on the weekends. The food then was really good. You will also like Charleston if you are going that way. Don't forget to look for Tara..of the Gone With the Wind fame.
Darlin...when I got my computer oh 18 months ago..my nephew the computer expert put it all together.. one thing he has all his people do when they get a new computer, is to leave it on for 3 days because with in that time frame if it is going to crash, it will. It sounds like your new set up is crashing way too often. Where is Ratty when we need him???Ratty,,,,Darlin needs your expert advice....hurry we don't want her to vanish in cyberspace!

Off to polish some silver spoons. We were off hunting for a new kitchen table and chair set today. Our table is fine really but the chairs are not..It costs more to buy just the chairs than to get a whole new set. Now how much sense does that make? Anyway, while we were in the UK The Great One mentioned he would like a certain kind of soup spoon they are called cream soup spoons. Well of course I could not find one in the ordinary stores and did not have time to hit antique shops. Well today in Merry Olde Arroyo Grande I popped into an antique shop and found 8 of them at 45 bucks. They are heavy silver plated but that is ok cuz these are for everyday. But boy are they nice! so bbl...
Oh I did not se where Scottslass came by. Anybody hear from her?

And the frugal gormet, didnt he have a "child" problem?
To: ValerieUSA
No doubt. FOFL. Deep in the heart of cajun country, English is still the second language.
Tomorrow we're going over to Donaldsonville to a Lafite's Landing for brunch. They have wonderful food and I'm sure everyone will love it. The chef is quiet famous but he always comes to your table to be sure you're enjoying the meal. Visitors love it, he's cajun, colorful and has a very strong accent.
