A federal appeals court ruled Wednesday that the Pledge of Allegiance is an unconstitutional endorsement of religion and cannot be recited in schools.

Ann was on the news channel this a.m. MSNBC with news readers Alex (dim)Witt and John Idiot Elliot. He asked Ann something about the liberal something or other and naming names and something to the effect "do you.......". She responded in her usual no holds barred - take no prisoners way and began by saying, "well, yes I do". She went on to repsond and then commented that it is all documented in ehr book with references, indexes, and footnotes!
I knew he was going to try to do the old 'painting everybody with the same broad brush' but she closed him down by saying something positive about Bryan (Brian) Williams and noted that it was in her book.
Usually after a segment (dim)Witt makes some ridiculous comments which she thinks are clever or cute....this a.m., neither she nor Idiot made comments.....so Ann was left with the last word....
I had thought (dim) Witt was going to do a passable job of reading the news cards, but she invariable sticks these stupid comments in. Like this morning when they did the Bobbitt story.....John did all of it and at the end, she makes this sort of statement "I wasn't going to touch that story". If I wanted comedy, I'd watch Leno or sign up for Comedy Central's show lineup.

MSNBC is trying to loosen up on the set a bit, but they just cant grasp FOX's formula for success of "fair and balanced".

A federal appeals court ruled Wednesday that the Pledge of Allegiance is an unconstitutional endorsement of religion and cannot be recited in schools. This is conservatives punishment for shoving the phrase "under God" into the pledge of allegiance in the 1950s. It never had any business there and ought to be taken out. It wasn't there when we were growing up. I can remember how awkward it sounded when we had to start sticking it in.

Could spell trouble for dems come November... "Religious Whackos" may be out in force like 1980 and 1994.

Ann Coulter back on MSNBC!

Could spell trouble for dems come November... "Religious Whackos" may be out in force like 1980 and 1994. I doubt it. Outting "Under God" in the Pledge and putting "In God We Trust" on the money were two of the most pointless things ever done. They helped no one and offended many. Conservatives have got to learn to stop shooting themselves in the foot like this

LOL! I always enjoy those "This is a test.. do not read" threads.

Well, Swervie, the money no longer say: "This note is legal tender for all debts public and private, and is redemable in silver at the Federal Reserve Bank"
Or even: "This note is legal tender for all debts public and private, and is redemable in lawfull money at the Federal Reserve Bank"
We have to trust in God ....
To: Servant of the Nine
BTW was this a typo? Outting "Under God"...
Is God Gay???
