Hey! I paid 99 pounds (about 200 dollars at the time) for an all inclusive 3 day tour of Paris. That included the ferry ride, train ride, guided bus tour and two nights (1 dinner, 2 con breakfastes) at the cozy royal bleau hotel (the one the concorde would crash into several years later!)

All in all, it was quite the bargain.

The Moulin Rouge is still in business, it was probably just closed for the holiday. Its the only place in Paris that still performs the real Can Can. LOL Bless your heart, Paris is one of the coldest cities on earth in the winter. Its brutal.

There's water in Annapolis? Maybe that's why the Navy is there! It's all starting to make sense..... As for the romantic story - I'll be with three of my sons in Annapolis. Any romance on this trip will be confined to my imagination. Like always... *L*

Well, its like this.... earlier my wild neighbors wanted to know if I liked Cape Cods. I said yes, they said come on over, we've made a blender full of frozen Cape cods. I went over for a few minutes and tried it out. I've never had a frozen one before and it was great. Kinda like a snowcone LOL. I had that one and they insisted that I take one to go. LOL Mow, I'm just kinda mellowed out.

I agree, she probably would, they're beautiful. I didn't stay in Venice but a couple of days. I went with some college friends and so we didn't really do any of the romantic things. Besides, I wanted to save that to spend time there with someone when the romantic things would mean something. LOL

Somehow I was just sure you were having glorious weather as we have had very English weather in our area just now.

Got the pictures all back and will be sending some soon. I have one more roll of film to do once the film is used up. I filled 3 albums including all the postcards I got to flesh things out.

You will have to take pictures of Cat's room once you have it done. We have not started our in house painting yet. We did get the bills from our trip ....:] Oh yes..we had a good time....

Nacho I think is feeling a little better. He has turned his nose up at most catfoods but he seems to like the tarter contol crunchies so I am just letting him have them. Mo said he may just have the wind up his kilt at us being gone for 3 weeks plus going to the vet the other day.

What Nacho doesn't know is that on Monday he gets his teeth cleaned. It is outrageous that it costs more to have his teeth cleaned than mine! And he seems to want to stay by me a lot.He has never been insecure before but he seems so now.

thanks everyone for the links on google. I have fooled around with it plugging in my own ideas and getting info to some degree. My big worry is that Nacho has a malignent melanoma in the iris of his eye. He has had the freckles since 1999 but only recently ( as in when I got home) did I notice a change. So the vet said it could be anything from a cyst to a cancer in the iris. fingers crossed that it isn't.
