Just thought I would waste a little bandwidth with a thread concerning our impending victory over Germany. So whether you are a fan or not, turn on the game and join it!

We played a good game. We lost. But considering the circumstances, we did much better against the Germans than the last time we played them. And we will be back in 2006. And one day we'll be good enough to win the World Cup. It was just not in the cards this year. USA, go home with pride and get ready for next time. You have nothing to be ashamed of. You did football and your country proud!

Thank God it's over. Until they get rid of goal keepers in Hockey and Soccer, I won't follow it. To me, that's the same as putting a net in front of the uprights in Football, or allowing Shaq to stand in front of the rim and swat the ball away anytime anyone shoots.

Oh man, that's right, these things only happen every three years. Well, more time to practice. In the meantime maybe we can get Tanya Harding to do her pipe trick on the German goalie (kidding of course!).
Bummer we lost but is sounds like we put on a very respectablbe performance. In fact, it sounds in a way like we definitely could have won this game.
