I've concluded that the desire for control is rooted in communism. They love power, and they can't have it if people are free. It's not just the public lands that are under assault, it's private property as well. If the Fish and Wildlife Service declares an area "critical habitat" for an endangered species, then it doesn't matter if it is private property. Use is severely restricted. Regional planning boards have done the same thing.

I agree. The Collectivists HATE the notion of 'privately owned property.'

The condition of the forests here in the East, is like a hot poker in their eye, because it is ALL privately owned and managed. And they are in the best shape they have ever been in. There is actually more forested land in the east now, than there has been since people showed up in sailing ships.

In furtherance of the conversation, when these types tell the world that 'humans are a cancer on the world and need to be cut out just like a cancer tumor', one has to know they're a danger to the free world.

If the Republican party had one-tenth the gumption that I see here in this forum, then we would be repeating their outrageous quotes at every turn.

Their OWN words can damn them far more effectively than ANYTHING we could say about them, but we are just AFRAID to fight fire with fire.

Why are Republicans afraid to call socialist idiots, 'socialist idiots??'

But Merrill's Law & Compliance Department found specific evidence that "contradicts the contention that a stop-loss order price triggered the sale," the source said.

"There was a different trigger for the sale," the source said.

I like Martha Stewart as a person, and she is quite intriguing for an older woman, but I am sick to death of these Leftist-supporting people doing shady stuff.

Martha is in bed with the Klintoons (literally probably, as well as figuratively), and for that reason alone, she should fry. These 'Friends of Bill' don't realize that BeelzeBubba is the ONLY one slick enough to pull off shenanigans like that.

Now, if I could just figure out some way that Steve Jobs could fry, without taking Apple with him.

Look at the forests and wilderness lands today - the utter devastation looming as a severe fire season is just beginning. Why? Because the word "pristine" has come to signify a superior state of nature untouched by human hands and industry. It is the goal of enironmentalists to maintain pristine conditions instead of protecting and preserving forests and wilderness for the American citizens today and of the future.
They need to accept that man is a part of nature, too. Man's intellect and skills must be employed to enhance nature through his use and replenishment of the bounty. That is how nature is preserved - not by leaving it in the unnatural state of manlessness.
Mankind is not the enemy of nature - man is the crowning glory of the natural world - of Creation.

First you must take over Apple - then you may fry Jobs. Simple.

That link I posted in 771 is dumb. From your link:

Martha Stewart's stock sale story came under fresh suspicion yesterday when her broker was suspended by Merrill Lynch after it found evidence that contradicted her claims.

This is like Terry Barton's story that she was burning a letter from her estranged husband, only he says he didn't write her a letter.
Martha gets in trouble and calls upon her relationship with the IMClone rascal, Waksal, her great, good friend that nearly became her son-in-law, to save the day by giving him an opportunity to jump in and shoulder the blame and help her gain the public sympathy.
Even an ultra-capable, independent, hard-working, tough, older multi-millionaire woman looks for a man to rescue her when she commits a crime.
My guess is this big "finding" of contradictory evidence is information turned over to the investigators by their squirming, squealing man in custody, Waksal himself.

Corporations and lobbyists that depend heavily on government decisions chipped in for the Florida Republican Party on Friday night, joining President Bush and Gov. Jeb Bush to raise more than $2.5-million at the state GOP's annual Majority Dinner.

Why must corporations depend heavily on government decisions? Because they have to apply for permits to do anything at all. Environmental Impact Statements and all of the subsequent challenges can hold up development and expansion for years and years, adding millions to the cost of projects that are necessary for the growth of a state's economy. As we elect more leftists to office, the permit, regulation and tax burden grows faster than business can boom.
Think of the contributions by corporations to Republicans running for office as an investment in the future of the state. Money they donate to Democrats is just bribery, hoping that the officials will be corrupt enough to make exceptions for them when they pass new restrictive laws.

I never believed that story for even a nanosecond. I am only surprised that she claims to be heterosexual.

These leftists have been working on their plans for 30 years now. They are firmly entrenched. Saul Alinsky provided the roadmap which they are follwing to a 'T.'

The Judiciary, the education system, the media, and now the fish, game, and wildlife departments have all been infiltrated by leftists who are working feverishly from within, to bring about the socialist revolution without firing a shot.
