Been reading just now about the plant theft. How about putting an ad in the paper something to the effect that a new sort of antiweed solution was sprayed on and around the plants an that in a weeks time, severe burns will appear..that the solution was defective and the thieves will become very very sick...

Now, on to a happier note...today we went to Glamis Castle, the home where the Queen Mum lived as a child and where her daughter the late Princess Margaret, the first princess to be born there in more than 300 years was born. The grounds and home is just out of this world. The current Earl and Countess of Strathmore and their young family live there now and were home today as the flag was flying. The land is enromous andd the scenery is just awesome. And not to insult Texans out there but if you think your Texas Long Horns are huge, you ain't seen nothin until you see the Highland Cattle!

Good grief. I wish I could make it all better, but this thievery has been going on around here for so long that most folks keep the front SIMPLE, and spend their efforts and bucks in the back yard. And as Mo points out, some ASSBITINGCHOWMIXPOOCHIES aren't a bad thing to have.

What a shame. It is such a rotten thing to do and bold. It was unbelievably bold. I guess you're right. If I'm not too disgusted to fool with it any more this year I'll confine it to the back yard. They also took all my flowering hanging baskets from the porch.

Well, it was another sunny day in Bonnei Scotland. The breezes were strong but it was a glorious day. Too bad you all could not be here. The Americans are starting to land here and in England...hay americans coming over..mind your manners and don't be too loud. We saw some today who were just impossible...loud. It is exciting to see all the wonderful things and sites but don't yell across a dining hall or in a small shop..it is TACKY and gives a bad impression....People here and in England are polite and helpful but if you demonstrate ill manners forget it.

No news today.... at least not that I've heard but then I've been busy stomping around the yard, trying to make up an inventory of what was stolen. LOL

It's the first time I've ever heard of such a thing. Maybe things weren't as bad in Colorado as I thought. My yard was ALL in the front and on the side. Lot's of people's were.

May I suggest planting fake ones next year .. LOL
