Well, I was a part of the flower child generation too, but unlike some people, I never traded my brain in for some good acid.

;-) Substitute cream for the sugar, and you've got it.

The islamonline link was horrid,
and their logic is even worse.

I think that I'll not be spending my reading time with any more islamonline - September 11, 2001 told me more than all I ever needed to know.

I know what you mean. I just want to see more people come to the realization that Islam is not a benign religion by any stretch of the imagination.

There is going to be a new trial on the second degree murder charge in the dog mauling case in San Francisco. It was just reported on Fox.

Hey Swervie .. got a question about this Islam thingy

I heard a story about Malcom X a while back and how when he went to africa he learned that the Islam being preached back home was not the same as what was being preached there

And shortly after he returned home to tell everyone what the true Islam religion was about was about the time he was shot

Did you hear that story??

I heard a story about Malcom X a while back

It's true. He was the No. 1 deputy to Elijah Muhamed and his designated successor. After his trip he split with him and was soon assasinated.

OK ..thanks

I heard about it but never had the time to read up on it

I have stated before that I haven't really read up on on the whole Islam thing, I guess because there is really no way to understand what these terrorist are thinking

But every time I would hear the words "highjacking" of Islam .. it would remind me of Malcom X

And when I hear about the recruits of Islam in the prision system .. it reminds be of Louis Farrakhan and his merry Gang of Thugs

This is great. Home Depot is the first big company to fight back against stupid government rules and regulations.

Home Depot stops
doing business
with federal government
(even cash!)

... commercial credit-card customers will receive a notice with their June bill that purchases could not be made "that would cause the company to be covered by or responsible in any way for compliance with" three federal laws or executive orders:

OoExecutive Order 11246 of 1965, which bans discrimination against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin.

- Section 503 and Section 505 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, which requires affirmative action and prohibits employment discrimination by federal government contractors and subcontractors.

- The Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, which requires that anyone doing business worth $25,000 or more with the federal government must take affirmative action to hire and to promote qualified targeted veterans.

So9 "We are going to the agencies who issued those three laws they mentioned and try to determine whether those laws would have some kind of impact on Home Depot which might explain its actions," McIver said. "This will impact many agencies who might have needs to go to Home Depot. But they can get those needs met by going to other stores."

Did you read the article that I posted earlier. It really talks about what Islam is about and what it's weaknesses are and the impact it has on cultures it infiltrates.

Swervie, that is really encouraging! I hope that other companies will get some guts and follow suit.

I read some of it .. did have the time to read all of it .. I think I have it saved around here somewhere

But that is not my point

My point was throughout history .. one religion or another has been us to suit a persons needs or a group of people's needs

Does that make sense .. I don't know .. I'm to tried to tell right now
