I get the feeling that "W" is just waiting for the Rats to get bold AGAIN and start with their bullshit, and then he will release more info to shut them all up instantaneously, AGAIN.

I give the rats until the end of the week before they forget how they have been beaten like a drum lately, with their OWN attacks reversed against them. By Friday they will be baying like Walker Hounds. By Sunday, they will be screaming bloody murder about how unfair it is to hold an American citizen without charging him.

They will try to hide behind feigned patiotism and act like they are concerned about civil rights, in their attempts to bludgeon "W". Of course, the Rats will use the two best weapons they have, to bolster their 'credibility': Spectre and McCainiac. After those two idiots blast off their mouths, then the (other) rats will feel emboldened.

They have had this guy for a month, and only revealed it when he changed to military custody. Since "W" only tells us what we need to know, I HAVE to believe that their revealing of it serves some other unknown purpose too.

Bait. A new meaning to the term "jailbait." The prisoner may have coughed up some info on co-conspirators, now the gov't wants to collect some evidence against them, too, before they make more arrests. This is their big chance to incriminate themselves, or come out of deep hiding as they try to escape the country.

Though the term hasn't been used, the scumbag is a prisoner of war. Under the Geneva convention and common sense, we are entitled to hold him without trial or charge until the war ends (ten years? Twenty?). He is entitled to regular Red Cross visits and to sing the blues. He is not entitled to a lawyer or to see his Mommie. Once the war is over he must be released or charged with a crime. In taking up arms against this country he has already lost his citizenship.
