That was enough for me! I appreciated his comments and made me even more determined to make sure the Bush Bashers do not take over this forum! We need to fight their bashing with facts which doesn't seem to be too hard to do. Truly believe a lot of them are infiltrators from the DemocRATS who pretend to be conservatives.

Yet, there are so many here ( the noisiest ones !) who keep saying that they will NEVER vote for Bush again ( or thnat thney proudly NEVER did ) , and beg EVERYONE to NEVER vote for any Republican ; not ever . Some ( the politically naive, who seem to have a death wish / are masochists ) , gleefully say that they want the Dems to take complete control of ALL branches of government.

Jim is very misguided / confused, if he thinks that the bashing will lessen. It will only get worse; unless he puts his foot down by 2004. By then, FR will look like the mothership for DU ! Some nights, it looks like that now.

You can't "fight them with facts". They don't want facts - WHAT THEY WANT IS TO SEE YOU GET UPSET AND RANT AND RAVE AT THEM. You see, the goal is to upset you - not discuss issues that you disagree about. The goal is to watch you explode! Sooooo, everytime you take the bait and start trying to give them "facts", they will change the subject and start attacking Bush on some other issue. Check it out for yourself.

The best way to fight them is to ignore them. I have written down a list of those who are the worst abusers of this little game - and everytime I see them gathering at a thread and starting their game - I just leave the thread.

Remember, these people do not want to discuss issues - they want to upset you - that is the whole goal they are after. Then they go other places and tell people how nasty FReepers are.

The ball's in your court - you just don't have to throw it back to them, and you can't have an argument if there is no one to argue with.

Isn't it amazing how the Democrats fall in step and lock their minds no matter what there leaders do but the Republicans expect their leaders to always agree with whatever their opinion is and if they don't all H-ll breaks loose? That is why we have Democrats as a majority in our senate. When are they ever going to learn that one elected Republican is worth his weight in gold over any elected Democrat? So you don't agree with Bush 100%? Would you rather have Daschle, Gore, or Hillary? What about Feinstein and Boxer? Those are such great Democrats. Better than Bush? Are you people NUTS? Are you saying Bush is beyond ALL criticism? I supported Bush and still support him, but with reservations and some moderate criticism. One can support a person and still respectfully criticize him, can't he? If you say not, then Hitler could have used good citizens like you.

I can usually tell the contents by the headline or by the first paragraph.

I never respond to a idiot post; life is too short.
