1-0 Currently. MAltby scores for the Wings.
On to Raleigh!
I am not so daring :)
BTW - Where are the 'Canes fans??????
If you want to see me in the crowd I am behind the Wings bench, left hand side, 6 rows up. You can't miss me. I will be there for game 5!!!
Time to celebrate with an Elsinore.........
Ok, uh, I found this mouse in a bottle of Elsinore beer that I bought at your beer store, eh? And I heard that when that happens you get your beer free, eh.
I can't believe you called the final score 2 hours before the end. :) Do me a favor though, don't ping me if you do that again, I'm superstituous. :)
1) Mighty Mights could have gotten off more than 2 shots on 6 power plays. The Canes PP sucked ass. As it usually does.
2) Lindstroms and Drapers goals should have never happened. Irbe looked like he had money on Detroit with those save attempts
3) Lindstoms and Drapers goals should have never been needed. The score should have been 5-1 at that point. 3 open net shots missed that are normally made 9 out of 10 times. Plus some other lucky saves by Irbe.
And as an aside, and I think most sports fans will agree with me, The Sports Gods do not like "early calls". What I am talking about is when Thorne and Clemment kept harping on Carolina only allowing 2 or fewer goals in 9 straight games. As soon as they said that I knew Detroit would score 3 or more. Same thing happened against Toronto. They kept talking about how Irbe had never had a playoff shutout. Well, what do you know, Toronto scores with 8 seconds left. Early calls assure the opposite outcome.
I will do. I'm always looking in the crowd for people I 'might' know :) Let me guess, you'll be the one in a Wings jersey LOL
