Yup! And what agitates me is I gained the 2.2 just from sipping a little wine and a desert! I can't stand all the fish stuff!! LOL.

I think, no, I KNOW she feels better. I did ask her not to watch so much Andy Griffin. LOL. I think she got this notion from Aunt Bee. Bess wanted to get out of my way, etc, so I would get on with my life. Gimmestrength. I told her if she'd quit mentally marrying me off, she'd be alot happier. :)Besides which, I can't imagine life without Bess. No matter where I go, or don't go, I'd want my Bess with me. Good grief. I also know I'm not leaving her here alone for a few days in a row, anymore. I could kick myself for that. I really am not very thoughtful or considerate.

Hey nully, finally finish up a full day at work?Topped of by an evening of shopping for stuff for the illustrious company, with two darling children in tow...

If Bess gets lonesome she's always welcome to join us on the FReeople thread.

Hehehehe. Well, I was just over at one of those threads and saw one little girl send a good one right right across the bow of a person who must be campaigning for King of the World. I have a feeling she is just getting started, too. LOL

I'm so glad. I'm sure you're not an inconsiderate person, sometimes people react in ways we don't really expect.

Yeah, whether or not she's lonesome, she's welcome any time. That's what I meant, but I was trying to think of something to keep her company when she's lonesome.

Thanks to you, Swervie, Darlin and Rowdee for all the really great advice. I needed it. I had no clue what to do. She is making me strawberry shortcake stuff. Groan. Bless her heart. I bet I eat it too. :)

But, Val! We're insular and rude!

Oh, dear. I'm a big Andy Griffith show fan, too. I was afraid that might be what she was thinking when you said she didn't smile about you not fitting in at the retirement center. God love her sweet heart. :)

*L* But Bess is one of us, so we're still being insular by welcoming her.
To: ValerieUSA
Thanks you guys. Yes, I'll tell her it's okay to do just that. :) I just won't leave her so much, either. She was invited each time I went, just she didn't want to go because she felt "in the way." I doubt I go back anytime soon, but if I do, she'll go.:) I'll see to that. :)
To: Darlin'
Oh no! Not Andy Griffith! Now I'll be whistling that theme song all night. Save me from myself!

That was it. She thought she was holding me back, or some such nonsense. Well, my Molly is in here, grabbing my hand. LOL. Bess is saying she hasn't gotten her filled up yet. That this "little dog" has almost starved. :) Maybe so, since Molly hasn't stopped eating all evening. She was so proud when she got Bess out of bed. :)
