"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."
What a lovely sentiment. I couldn't agree more.

Getting out of India seems such a no brainer. I don't understand why there isn't a stampede to the airport. LOL There are still a lot of hare Krishna ... Maharishi types over there. They are the original no brainers

I have now sent you the maps 3 times and been bounced each time

And NOT resisting urges can cause shoulder damage, requiring surgery to repair. Better shoulder surgery than brain surgery.
the therapy goes well. My shoulder is healed but very weak, so it is always sore from the exercize. That does wonders for my temperment.

That does wonders for my temperment.
Is that anything like 'distemperment???'
I am glad it didn't affect your ornery temperament though.

Is that anything like 'distemperment???' Nah, I had my distemperment shots when I was a mere pup.

Uh-huh, corny but true. :) I'm delighted every morning to see sunlight filter through the trees, little buds about to flower and all those wonderful birds. :)

We thought copping US Hwy 69 signs was fairly bold - back in the day.

I'm listening to Rush and a caller just called about the song Rush played about Bush and called him on it .. seems Rush is backing down a bit
Also can't help notice this caller was a guy
Gee I do remember Rush giving the female callers the same consideration

I'm listening to him too and I just sent him an email. I told him the paraody just isn't funny, it has the feel of piling on, it raises the smugness factor of idiots like Begals. It was tacky and beneath Rush
Did you hear what Rush said as he introduced it the first time ? Did he say something about not wanting to be freeped ?

Pit Bull
A man was leaving at 7-11 with his morning coffee when he noticed a most unusual funeral procession approaching the nearby cemetery. A long black hearse was followed by a second long black hearse about 50 feet behind.
Behind the second hearse was a solitary man walking a pit bull dog on a leash. Behind him were 200 men walking single file. The man couldn't stand the curiosity.
He respectfully approached the man walking the dog and said, "I am so sorry for your loss, and I know now is a bad time to disturb you, but I've never seen a funeral like this. Whose funeral is it?"
The man replied, "Well that first hearse is for my Father in Law." "What happened to him?" The man replied, "My dog attacked and killed him."
He inquired further, "Well, who is in the second hearse?" The man answered, "My mother-in-law. She was trying to help my Father in Law when the dog turned on her."
A poignant and thoughtful moment of silence passes between the two men.
"Can I borrow the dog?"
"Get in line."
