Hiya agent 38. Was it a nice day in California yesterday? Winona Ryder wore a coat to her court appearance (very late, too) and it looked like a bit much to me for June in LA. However, it should have padded and protected her elbow from being broken when she bumped into a cameraman.
Apparently she suffered an injury that required immediate attention and had to postpone facing the judge. Sheeeeeesh! She's behaving like a teenager instead of a 30 yr old woman -- and her sleazeball lawyer, Mark Geragos (of Susan McDougall and Gary Condit infamy) is encouraging her disrespect of the court.

Good mornining! It is a lovely day, I was feeling good until I read through last night's thread and came across that post from The One. gads. It's still a lovely day, nevertheless.

It was nice here yesterday, a little cool on the coast, but certainly no coat needed. I don't know what the deal is with these celebrities. I think they take themselves waaaay too seriously, and growing up isn't on their list of things to do.

Nah, Rush Limbo is married. Even my judgement knows better than that. *L*

The question on Fox news this morning is moot - Will the Congressional hearings on intelligence communications get to the bottom of the failure to prevent the attack of 9/11?
We know from experience in this sort of Congressional hearing that FBI agents will LIE to Congress -- remember the hearings following Waco? Lie lie lie....
Why isn't Congress investigating the House and Senate intel committees? Didn't they FAIL? YES.

Well, I was heading over here last night, to talk to you guys, and got distracted by a headline. Went to read and WHAM. It was awful. There are some crazy folks in this world, and sometimes I think the biggest majority have found their way to this web site. Good grief. Anyway, I got so disgusted I just grabbed a book and went to bed. Sooooo, HI FREEOPLES. Hugs.

Hi, Ringy. Did you hear me mention your name?
Are you gonna be back for a while?

Swervie, SMOOCH. I haven't heard a thing. Was over reading headlines. I'll be here for a bit. Got stuff to do shortly, then will be back this afternoon, I think. :)

I had just mentioned you in post #959. We had a visit from Conservobabe last night. I am sooo glad you are back to protect us.

Being the shy person that i am, I don't usually announce that it is my birthday, but today is my birthday! Hubby is taking me to a reportedly terrific restaurant for dinner tonight. :-)

Somebody heard a rumor I might want to sell my house. (the one I live in). They submitted an offer. A GOOD one. I'm really seriously thinking I might sell. I'm trying to find out how to have Chou Mhee moved. He MUST go too. Sooo, I dunno. Bess isn't happy. She says she is too old and too fat (she says "large" ) to go live on a boat. Oh Dear.
To: Servant of the Nine
LOL. It was a really weird night, even for this site. :)

Does she still hate us? I haven't read back, and now I KNOW I won't. :)

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY Little Friend. :) Soooooooo glad it's your day.
To: Letitring
She says she is too old and too fat (she says "large" ) to go live on a boat. Oh Dear. So am I, but it is just a matter of finding a large enough boat.
I think the varnished mahogany boats of the '30s are a lot more spacious as well as elegant than contemporary ones.

We're looking for a house! I saw one on Saturday that I really liked (wonderful kitchen, loft, walk-in closets, sitting room off the entry) but a teeny-tiny lot. All this for a mere $385,000. The new homes here are all on tiny tiny lots. I believe I'll start looking at older existing homes. I'd kinda like a yard of some sort.
