We don't like her because she has insulted us one by one before. It's her only purpose when she shows up on the thread - she's always looking to toss about insults. We owe her nothing - not even a greeting, and especially not the trouble she's looking for.

The kids are out of school now for the summer - I don't have to get up really early. Did you stay up all night so you could post here before me? *L*

A whole new life --- In California, do you have to have a legal separation before you can divorce?

The kids may be less demanding in the mornings, but the cat still needs his breakfast and the dogs still bark at the squirrels.
Has the price of gold jumped back up yet?

No, they are separate legal actions.

It is as difficult to get a legal separation as a divorce, but has a few advantages that suited our circumstances. Mostly it allowed Margaret, who is essentially uninsurable, to remain on my policy.

The downside is neither of us can remarry, as we are still technically married. No big loss. I'm in no hurry to utterly destroy my life again...

Good morning Valerie. Yes, our four legged kiddos are not respecters of holidays, vacation days, or any other days that I'm aware of. They just want their chow, and they want it NOW.

As my grandma said "the more things change, the more they stay the same". With the exception of Mo, yall are the same rude and insular people you always have been since coming to FR.

Thank you.

Tell the truth Babe... In real life, you are an Emily Post clone, and just do this 'asshole' personna for fun, don't you??

hmmm.... for someone who is no hurry to be married, you aren't in a big hurry to be actually free either. You think living in Limboland will protect your heart from making another boo-boo?

Once upon a time I liked being called Babe, now thanks to a certain person I rudely refuse to talk to, that term has lost its endearing quality. That's reason enough for me to be insular.

I know about living in a kind of self-imposed Limboland, too, so I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that - it just wasn't really any better than any other state. Nothing is a substitute for trusting one's own judgement (which I still don't *L*).

I read the through the thread from last night, and didn't see anyone being rude to you. As to insular, we welcome anyone who cares to join us. Perhaps you could point out where the rudeness occurred (other than your post to which I am replying - that fits my definition of rude). If you believe we are rude and insular, why do you bother? You must just enjoying insulting people. Have a nice day, dearie.
