Interesting Freeper name!
I was recently on a trip through Arizona and came upon a reservation high school whose sports team was named the Redskins. Oh, but the PC, liberal high brows say that the NFL team should change their name. Gag.

Correct... I only watched the last few minutes, and it was totally outrageous... The Kings were totally robbed... that last elbow not only should have been a foul.. it should have been a technical as well... THE REF WAS LOOKING RIGHT AT IT, and just swallowed the damn whistle...
The big honchos may also not be interested in having a team "that looks like the community" play for a title. Who knows?

In some good news, the Nets did win their match... I might actually watch a Finals of the Nets vs Kings... maybe see some actual basketball and not the thug crap the Lakers love to play (and get away with)

I can't believe the crying by all you Non-Laker fans..wah wah wah
Shaq to the foul line ONCE last game...missed all your complaining about that.
Lakers will win BIG and I mean BIG on Sunday. Put me down that the Lakers will win by at least 15.

I felt Sacramento got the benefit of calls last game. This game was a differrent story. Pollard just held his hands straight in the air & would get a call. Most officiating bias I've seen in awhile. NBC & the NBA wanted a game seven in Sac town on Sunday - they got it. I've had enough of this crap.

Guess you like to root for thugs? I used to be a Laker fan when Magic Johnson was around (before he got AIDS)... they played BASKETBALL then... not this gangsta' thug crap...

I notice no one talks about game 5 when Bobby Jackson pulled Kobe's shirt out of his shorts and then hit him in the face on the last shot of the game! Also, the defensive player (Bibby) needs to give the offensive player enough room to move...and I don't suppose anyone caught Bibby's right arm wrapped around Kobe's back when he got hit in the nose. The calls and non-calls are going both ways in this series...

I agree. Kings V Nets will be a very interesting matchup.

I can't believe they didn't call that foul on Bryant. I almost feel like he should be suspended for Game 7 but I know that will never happen. It's disgusting to think that the NBA is no better than the WWF, I knew going in that the Kings would have to blow the Lakers out of the water because if it was close than the refs would make the difference. And they did. The last thing I want to see is a boring Finals with LA again, the last 2 years have been a drag.

LOL!

I'm not upset on the Kobe call, the refs may have not seen the play because it was away from the ball. Shaq got a free pass tonight & it was disgusting. I've dumped MLB & the NBA is next.

I'm with you. The Kings are a fun team to watch. They are the better team. They pass, shoot, and defend well. I hope they are the team the refs reward with a win Sunday.

Do you think it was a make-up game given for the last game where the refs took it away from LA? The game before this one had the last four ref calls make a gift to Sacramento.
In general I think the refs STINK~!

You all are concentrating on the WRONG bad call(s). I thought the non-call on Kobe's forearm was correct. The swim-move is used all the time. Bibby was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Kind of like the Simpson's episode where Homer grabs a pie and tells it that he's gonna chomp his jaws and if the pie happens to get in the way and get eaten that it's the pie's fault. But I digress...
Shaq changes his pivot foot two or three times each time he moves to the hoop. Never gets called for travelling. Plus, anytime Kobe goes up for a layup or dunk, a whistle is automatically blown if a defender is within five feet of him.
But they weren't the only two players getting the calls tonight. Webber almost tore Horry's arm off right before Divac fouled out (on a terrible call, IMO) and the whistle wasn't blown.
The Lakers will get the majority of the calls in this series because they have two "golden" players (Shaq and Kobe) to the Kings' one (Webber). Eventually Bibby will become one of the chosen ones, but not this year.
Hopefully more people will join Mark Cuban in his crusade for refereeing accountability. But despite the refs, this series should already have ended. No way the Kings should have lost game 4. If they lose, it's their own fault.

I hate Chargin' Shaq and the Flakers. As usual, you blatantly failed to place the phrase 2-Time Defending World Champion in front of the name Flakers
