while my kids will never go to public school if i can help it, i don't think they are all cesspools. I have nieces in both Ohio and NY who are in public schools that seem much more like the one i attended back in the pre-PC days of yore. my kids were watching the spelling bee yesterday, i can't believe it is shown on ESPN, that was pretty funny!

I thought you were too young for Donovan. Were you just mad about Saffron? In Sunny South Kensington any day of the week? And we all know The Season of the Witch starts the day Hillary gets elected Pres.

You're very kind. I'll see what I can do, but chances are (Johnny Mathis) it would be after hours from home if I need to go there to get something.

The most amusing section of his most amusing effort:
The continent of Atlantis was an island which lay before the great flood in the area we now call the Atlantic Ocean.
So great an area of land, that from her western shores those beautiful sailors journeyed to the South and the North Americas with ease, in their ships with painted sails.
To the East Africa was a neighbour, across a short strait of sea miles.
The great Egyptian age is but a remnant of The Atlantian culture.
The antediluvian kings colonised the world All the Gods who play in the mythological dramas In all legends from all lands were from fair Atlantis.
Knowing her fate, Atlantis sent out ships to all corners of the Earth.
On board were the Twelve:
The poet, the physician, the farmer, the scientist, The magician, the small appliance repairman and the other so-called Gods of our legends.
Though Gods they were - And as the elders of our time choose to remain blind Let us rejoice and let us sing and dance and ring in the new Hail Atlantis!

The sad news is no. But the baby was really doing a lot of moving and kicking last night. That's how my daughter acted just before she was born.
My wife put it best when she told me that we ARE going to be grandparents and the last thing our grandchild needs are a grandfather and grandmother who have to be visited in padded rooms with no inside doorknobs.
I'm trying to be more patient. :)
