If something happened to Dawn, it makes perfect sense that YOU would care, and expect authorities to do their best to find her or solve the case; but the entire press force of the nation would not obsess over her for a year and beyond. That would be sick. And it would be wrong for any columnist to claim that Dawn was everyone's child.

I missed that segment.. I turned to it and saw a report on the tension between India and Pakistan.

They would if it turned out that she'd been having an affair with Senator Campbell though.

The point is that it isn't about Chandra; it's about Condit.
To: ValerieUSA
This Chandra obsession is unhealthy - reporters and "experts" are making fools of themselves with the constant commentary and now some idiot writer has a column mourning Chandra as "everyone's child" - she was a grown woman, not a child, and her family is nothing like mine! Whether it is Chandra or John Bennet, most of our fine voting citizens don't have the intelegence or the compassion to care about all the young women or all the small children that are killed. The media obsesses on a few individual cases because that is all the proles can understand or want to hear about. If reporters stretched themselves to cover the generalized problem of children or young women being killed, their ratings would tank, because the audience couldn't understand it and wouldn't want to hear about it

The Osprey was cancelled by then sec-def Dick Cheney in 1991. It is way to expensive and dangerous to be relied on in a wartime situation. I saw a pair of them fly over my house 3 years ago, very impressive, but LOUD as crap!

Hi OCC. Did you start packing yet?
To: sweetliberty
Foundation president Skip Rutherford argued the complex will have an annual $10.7 million economic impact. $10.7 million in annual kick backs?
To: sweetliberty
I am mostly packed. We are having a multi-family yard sale Saturday, so I have to wait and see what sells before I finish the job.
To: operation clinton cleanup
"$10.7 million in annual kick backs?" More likely more money out of the pockets of Arkansans and IN the pockets of the Klintons.

Load the damn thing full of Congressmen for each flight.Rats first.
Nah, load it with the ones who have voted for this piece of Sh!t, whatever party they're in.
I wouldn't mind seeing them assigned as personal transports for a few General Officers either

Are you watching Shepherd Smith. They are gonna do a report on how they are revising the history of the Alamo as it's taught in Texas schools to avoid offending Mexican children. Sounds like la Raza is gaining a pretty good foothold in Aztlan Texas.

Are you watching Shepherd Smith. They are gonna do a report on how they are revising the history of the Alamo as it's taught in Texas schools to avoid offending Mexican children. It is absolutely outrageous. Time to play a little "Cowboys and Mexicans" again.

Nah, load it with the ones who have voted for this piece of Sh!t, whatever party they're in. I believe the prime contractor Bell/Textron is located in massatwoshits.

Did you hear that b**** saying "we don't want our hispanic kids thinking we're biased?"
To: Servant of the Nine
""we don't want our hispanic kids thinking we're biased?" HELLO!!!!!!!! Isn't that kinda planting the seed that the Alamo was never really won or lost and Texas is still up for grabs?
To: sweetliberty
Did you hear that b**** saying "we don't want our hispanic kids thinking we're biased?" Yes. What they are doing is flat out making up lies and teaching it as the truth in order to not hurt the kiddies feelings.

No, it's about Chandra, not Condit, when the headline declares she's everyone's child.
It's lazy journalism by vultures pretending to be reporters. There are important stories that need to be covered now, but they require work, skill, time and intelligence.
If this was about Condit and his behavior and how vulnerable he was to bribery and how his behavior was that of a spy, not a lover, then the coverage would make sense. Our national security is at risk every time a congressman on the intel committee has a personal secret he doesn't want revealed. He has complete access to sensitive papers at all times. You can bet spies knew about his sex parties and affairs, including Chandra, long before the press ever did - that's their job, and it should also be the job of the watchdog press.
