The media at the local and national level cover for the teachers and the unions big time .. and you WON'T see them going after them like they do the church ..

Why??? .. because it will ruin the credibility of ALL the teachers and it doesn't fit their agenda ...

There is an agenda to bring down the catholic church .. just like they try to bring down the southern Christians .. AKA the VRWC

ALSO, I'm really wondering what in the heck is going on with our Marinas and coastal areas. You wouldn't believe the sheer NUMBERS of yankee, LIBERAL, tree-huging, panda sucking, "we are all one world, one people, one PRESENCE. There is no difference in any of us, why stop immigration" stone cold IDIOTS, populate our coastlines and waterways. Whew. AND, they have JOBS that can really mess up your life. Jeeze Maureen. Almost all the comentators on this I hear are Catholics. Whether they are liberals like Maureen Dowd and Chris Mathews or conservatives like O'Rielley or William F. Buckley, Jr. or Congressman Peter King, they are all saying the exact same thing. Are the conservative Catholic people in the media trying to bring down the church too?

Just because people are out to get you doesn't mean you aren't getting paranoid too.

One of my most fun experiences shopping for something to wear, although certainly not a typical situation, was at the Renaissance festival several years ago with a date. I had decided to get one of those beautifully flashy outfits and he was just as into it as I was with all the appropriate oooo's and ahh's and even suggestions about what to try on. It was a blast. I even have a picture that was taken later that night...but you can't see the outfit. It was gorgeous though and I got a lot of wear out of it at future festivals. The picture is a copy of a copy so it isn't real good. I don't know for sure whare the original is.

Most school districts are in one newspaper towns, and the publishers are reluctant to alienate school administrators and teachers and coaches -- they like to print "feel good" stories about local education. Advertisers in small towns shy away from controversy or personal attacks against "respectable" citizens.
Report the crimes of the unwashed loser class, and you don't risk subscription and ad cancellations. Do an investigative report on a series separate incidents in the schools and conclude that the system is so sick that teachers are preying upon students and administrators are looking the other way, and you've just stepped in the deep doo-doo.
It's much safer to put wire service provided national scandal stories on the front page than to expose your own neighbors and your kids' schools as pervert enablers.
