I'm all for Rules are Rules .. but I will admit disqualifying someone because of the COLOR of her bra is a little over the edge

I've never been like that clothes shopping. I usually leave without buying anything. But last week I bought a really pretty peasant blouse at the mall for more than I would usually spend on something (especially that wispy) and I've felt guilty ever sine - which got me wondering where that came from and why do I feel guilty? Why have I always been reluctant to buy nice clothes for myself?
When I was in high school I worked and bought my own clothes, and always looked very nice and got compliments, but after I got married and lived in the middle of nowhere and had kids everything changed. I guess I can blame it on maternity clothes.

I have not read this article by the church so I don't know exactly what is in it

But this part is correct .. most of the Media and the News Stattions don't give a flying hoot about the victums of child abuse .. because if they did they would ALSO report all the teachers and or minister of other religions that abuse children .. the are going after to the church because of 2 reasons .. one is to knock the church down and second it is for ratings

With all that said .. it DOES NOT mean the church should get a pass on the reporting of these abuses .. it should be reportrd .. they screwed up BIG TIME and they need to be called on it
